Responsibilities- Assist licensed nursing staff with routine nursing duties and activities of daily living
- Perform personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, within the framework of the individual resident's activities of daily living and functional abilities
- Document all information pertaining to each assigned resident on each shift accurately and timely, including meal percentages, intake and output recordings, and any significant changes in resident condition
- Transport residents to and from activities, meals, and therapy as indicated
- Participate in all required and mandatory in-services, as well as any additional in-service programs, to ensure full knowledge of all required policies and procedures
- Meet all state requirements for recertification and complete and submit all required documentation to the state to ensure timely certification renewal
- Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Competency Program, with current certification in the state of California
- One year of experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
