Mathematics Teacher

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Lynn Public Schools. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning, and a commitment to providing a high-quality education to our students.

The Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students in grades 5-8. The teacher will plan and implement standards-based lessons, assess student progress, and provide regular feedback to students. The teacher will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment, and collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum.

• Plan and implement standards-based lessons in Mathematics for students in grades 5-8
• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
• Participate in school-wide and department-wide professional development activities

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or related field
• Valid license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Mathematics 5-8
• SEI Endorsement
• Additional content area licensure is encouraged
• Experience in an urban district/setting preferred
