Role Description: We are seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team at Sound. In this role, you will provide therapeutic services to children and adolescent clients with behavioral health disorders, including diagnostic assessment, direct clinical intervention, and supportive consultation to clients and their families.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of child and youth development and behavioral health interventions, as well as the ability to perform individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy. A strong working knowledge of mental and/or behavioral health resources in King County is also essential.

As a Behavioral Health Clinician, you will have the opportunity to work closely with families, schools, social service agencies, and other systems of care to develop holistic, strength-based, recovery-oriented therapeutic plans. Your primary responsibilities will include providing diagnostic assessment, developing individualized cross-system care plans, and facilitating wraparound planning.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a counseling-related field, with at least 3 years of directly related clinical experience as a clinician or case manager. Mental Health Professional (MHP) designation is preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide diagnostic assessment and ongoing assessment of client's strengths and needs.
  • Use appropriate therapeutic modalities to build on strengths and attend to client's needs.
  • Assist in the development of individualized cross-system care plans.
  • Facilitate wraparound planning that supports the strengths and vision of high-needs children and their families.
  • Provide therapeutic support/psycho-education to families.
  • Deliver in-home therapeutic services as indicated in the Wraparound plan.
  • Complete all paperwork according to agency policy and contract requirements.
