Job Overview

The UNM Medical Group, Inc. is looking for a dedicated Project Coordinator to join our Truman Health Services Team. This role requires exceptional communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.

Salary Range: $49,025 - $61,276*

*Compensation is based on total relevant experience.

*Salary is calculated on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) basis, equating to 40 hours per week. Part-time hours will be prorated accordingly. Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with extended hours on Thursday until 7 PM.

This position will report directly to the Program Operations Director.

Position Summary

The Project Coordinator will facilitate organizational projects across a diverse environment, assisting in the evaluation and enhancement of operational and clinical functions. This role may involve supporting basic initiatives and requires collaboration with staff at all levels, adaptability to change, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Essential Qualifications for a Project Coordinator:

A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field along with at least one year of related experience. Educational qualifications and experience may be interchangeable on a year-for-year basis. Verification of education and credentials (if applicable) will be required upon selection.

  • Experience delivering Community Health Worker services to complex populations.

Key Responsibilities of a Project Coordinator:
  1. Coordinate meetings, sessions, and events with leadership and stakeholders, documenting minutes and outcomes, and disseminating information to project team members.
  2. Assist in the development, maintenance, and monitoring of project plans; follow up on action items and decisions; create and update various documentation and reports.
  3. Present data and reports in diverse formats.
  4. Research best practices; analyze, interpret, and assess various data.
  5. Monitor and document budget expenditures, invoices, and contracts for the assigned department.
  6. Provide administrative support to the department.
  7. May engage in basic project management and training activities.
