Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer - EIT to join our Water team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and directing engineering projects related to water resources, reservoirs, and dams, water supply, wastewater networks, and treatment, flood mitigation, and river basin management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use knowledge of general concepts of civil engineering elements to support engineering projects.
  • Perform basic calculations to analyze and design civil system components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software.
  • Assist team in preparing civil designs, drawings, specifications, presentations, and reports, and gather information to support design decisions.
  • Assist in basic interpretation and verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards and practices.
  • Work with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of a senior engineer.
  • Perform field work related to construction activities as required.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to creatively apply technical knowledge.
  • Attention to detail, positive attitude, desire to support team success, and ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 0-2 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
  • EIT certification preferred; EIT certification required to be successfully obtained within 12 months of employment.
