We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Covington County Hospital. This is a PRN position, and the ideal candidate will have experience in performing all modalities of PACS/RIS.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all radiology procedures using digital imaging, including CT contrast studies. They will work closely with patients and families to provide exceptional care and maintain a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel.

Responsibilities
  • Performs all radiology procedures using digital imaging, including CT contrast studies.
  • Must be familiar with dosage and side effects of contrast media, be prepared and know standard practice if patient reaction occurs.
  • Starts IVs and administers contrast.
  • Performs clerical duties, schedules patients, registers patients and copies exams.
  • Cleans and preps exam rooms.
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiology Program.
  • Must be licensed by the State of Mississippi and American College of Radiology.
  • Experience preferred.
  • BLS required.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
