Industrial Ironworker Helper

The Zachry Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Ironworker Helper to join our construction projects team. As a critical role in our operations, this individual will assist Journeyman Ironworkers with constructing iron/steel structures to specifications.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate safety risks and take necessary precautions to mitigate them.
  • Assist with fabricating equipment according to blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
  • Hoist equipment and tools into a location via bull rigging or crane.
  • Verify vertical and horizontal alignment of structural-steel members using plumb bobs, laser equipment, transits, and/or levels.
Key Requirements:
  • Must have 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Ironworker Helper.
  • Must possess all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions (see below).
  • Must be able to meet all physical requirements.
  • Must be able to work at heights in excess of 300 ft.
  • Must have all required tools.
Compensation:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year.
