Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at Geisinger Health System. As a Medical Oncologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality cancer care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various types of cancer.
- Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests to determine the best course of treatment for each patient.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that may include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and other evidence-based treatments.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, radiologists, and pathologists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in oncology and participate in ongoing education and training to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.
- Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania.
- Board certification in Medical Oncology or Hematology.
