About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Rochester's Cornerstone Group, Ltd. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and Coordinate Maintenance: Plan, coordinate, and perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and service requests.
  • Document Maintenance Activity: Record daily maintenance activities, including problems encountered, work completed, and vacancy status updates.
  • Prepare Apartments for Move-In: Perform, monitor, inspect, and conduct evaluations necessary to prepare apartments for new tenants.
  • Inspect and Maintain Property: Inspect the property daily and maintain proper cleanliness and curb appeal.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work professionally and cooperatively with our team to achieve our goals.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Prior experience related to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, appliance, HVAC, and building systems.
  • Additional Qualifications: Prior experience working in property management is a plus.
  • Transportation: Must possess a reliable, personal vehicle with a valid NYS Driver's License.
  • Communication: Required possession and use of personal cell phone (monthly reimbursement).
