Job Summary:

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist Associate to join our team. As a Phlebotomist Associate, you will be responsible for collecting and processing blood specimens for testing in the laboratory. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collect blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Label, process, and deliver specimens for testing, ensuring accurate and timely results.
• Maintain supplies and equipment, adhering to quality control standards.
• Perform clerical tasks as necessary, including answering calls and entering data into our system.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• No prior experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and grow with our team is essential.
