Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join our organization as a Medical Director.
Responsibilities- Fully engaged in the concept of Integrated team-based care model
- Focusing on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention
- Demonstrates both autonomy and proficiency in performance of comprehensive health assessments and communicate Plan of Care with Patients and/or their families
- Proficient in diagnosing, treating and managing the Medicare Advantage population with multiple comorbidities
- Effectively communicates with all members of the care team and facilitates a medically appropriate and effective plan of care to avoid unnecessary duplication of testing, and fragmentation of care
- Observes the scope of practice in the state in which he or she is licensed and working in
This is a FULL-TIME position.
Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Eligibility & Qualifications- Ability to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to document patient encounters
- Knowledge of ICD-10 Coding and STAR measure attainments
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve complex and multifaceted situations
- Strong organizational, and task prioritization skills
- Medical Doctorate (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.); Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine preferred
- Medical License in the state of Florida
- DEA License
- Up-to-date CPR Certification (BLS, ACLS, and PALS)
