Licensed Psychiatric Social Worker

The Psychiatric Social Worker is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, providing direct assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning to our patients. As a seasoned mental health professional, you will work closely with our team to provide timely and effective clinical interventions, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Essential Responsibilities:- Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs, identifying underlying issues and developing effective treatment plans.
- Treatment Planning and Intervention: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing a range of evidence-based modalities to address patients' unique needs.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Resource Utilization and Referral: Identify and connect patients with relevant community resources, ensuring timely access to necessary support services.
- Continuing Education and Professional Development: Stay current with best practices, research, and industry developments, applying this knowledge to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Experience: Two (2) years of post-graduate mental health therapy experience within the last five (5) years required.
- Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field required.
- License and Certification: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) required.
- Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated expertise in current DSM nomenclature, with a strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Cultural Competence: Ability to provide culturally sensitive care to diverse patient populations.
