About the Role

This position requires a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Nurse Specialist to provide high-quality patient care in our surgical department. As part of our team at Phelps Health, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate and personalized care to patients undergoing orthopedic surgery.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care using evidence-based practices and adhere to established hospital policies and procedures.
  • Administer medications, perform nursing interventions, and educate patients and their families on post-operative care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify potential health risks and develop individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Missouri or Compact Licensure.
  • One year of experience in an orthopedic setting preferred.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
