Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of prescription dispensing, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

• Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, and the maintenance of accurate records.
• Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information, counting and measuring medications, and labeling and packaging prescriptions.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures for inventory management and pharmacy operations.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure seamless workflow and efficient operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Basic math skills and accuracy in counting and measuring medications.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
