As a pharmacy technician, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including the performance of other pharmacy department duties in accordance with company policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including the performance of other pharmacy department duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and develop strong relationships with patients.
  • Participate in the Pharmacy Technician Training Program and maintain certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Staff Pharmacist.
Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
  • Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification.
