Speech Therapist Job Description

Imaginative Beginnings Early Learning Center is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with children with language difficulties or delayed development, providing speech and language services in accordance with the patient's Plan of Care (POC).

Responsibilities:
  • Screening and evaluating students with language difficulties or delayed development.
  • Providing speech and language services in accordance with the patient's Plan of Care (POC).
  • Participating as part of the multi-disciplinary team in reviewing qualifications of patients with speech and language needs or delayed development, collaborating with our physical and occupational therapists.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university or college program.
  • Have been granted a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Licensed by the State of Ohio or be eligible for Ohio licensure.
  • Possess at least two years of experience working with children with special needs, developmental delay, or disability.
