Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement high-quality websites for clients, ensuring alignment with their educational mission and organizational goals.
  • Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting websites for clients, providing timely and effective solutions to connectivity and functionality problems.
  • Collaborate with staff on web server and related issues, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Research, develop, and implement web-based features and services that can be made available via the Internet, staying up-to-date with current trends and industry-standard hardware and software.
  • Assist in the development of frameworks for overall client websites, based on the services to be offered, and make recommendations for changes in approaches, procedures, and/or policy as needed.
  • Monitor usage patterns of client websites, participating in maintaining the security of client websites and ensuring compliance with usability and accessibility guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions regarding the use and functionality of client websites, and maintaining a strong commitment to exceptional client management skills.
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of current and emerging industry-standard hardware and software used in Internet/website design and development.
  • Good knowledge of modern business office terms and procedures as they relate to the Internet.
  • Good knowledge of modern terms and procedures used in the design and development of websites.
  • Strong organizational skills, creative problem-solving abilities, initiative, and work ethic.
  • Ability to understand, follow, and prepare oral and written instructions, and to effectively present information regarding the design and development of websites to a lay audience.
