Phlebotomist Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team at Sea Mar Community Health Centers. As a vital member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients with care and precision. About the Role:

• You will work closely with healthcare providers and nurses to ensure seamless patient care.
• You will collect blood samples using venipuncture and capillary methods, following strict safety protocols.
• You will verify test orders in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and maintain accurate records.
• You will process specimens according to reference lab guidelines and track results in EHR.
• You will communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional care.

Key Qualifications:

• Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician or equivalent experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
