Your main goal will be to provide essential labor support in preparing customer orders and maintaining trench safety apparatus. Success in this demanding yet rewarding role can lead to advancement opportunities within our Driver development program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, load, and unload equipment, assist with deliveries, and prepare equipment for rental
  • Conduct routine inspections on rental equipment to ensure safety and functionality
  • Confirm delivery tickets and returns for accuracy
  • Welcome customers and assist with inquiries regarding equipment
  • Recommend equipment and supplies to fulfill customer requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Experience operating medium to large forklifts is preferred
  • Familiarity with trench safety equipment is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Basic knowledge of computers and mobile applications
  • Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Ability to frequently lift items weighing up to 45 lbs.
  • Personal protective equipment and work boots are provided by the company

This position is classified as Safety Sensitive according to United Rentals' policies and procedures.
