Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Physician Assistant to join our Head and Neck Medical Oncology department. In this role, you will be an integral part of a collaborative care team, working alongside a diverse group of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive medical services within your scope of practice, adhering to organizational policies and guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking medical histories and performing physical examinations.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results to inform patient management.
  • Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Perform necessary clinical procedures as authorized through the credentialing process.
  • Manage follow-up care for patients, including ordering imaging studies and providing ongoing medical support.
  • Communicate effectively with supervising physicians regarding patient progress and changes in condition.
  • Prescribe medications and educate patients on safe usage, particularly concerning controlled substances.
