- Work Schedule: Four-day work week, Tuesday to Friday, from 7 AM to 5 PM.
- Work Environment: Outpatient clinic attached to the hospital, ensuring easy access to necessary medical services.
- Team Structure: Collaborate with a team consisting of one physician and three other PA/NP professionals.
- Patient Care: Manage a panel of patients primarily focusing on geriatric care, including chronic conditions such as Diabetes, Hypertension, and COPD.
- Patient Load: Average of 16 patients per day, with opportunities for additional earnings.
- Technology: Utilize Meditech Expanse for electronic medical records.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
- National Certification and a valid state medical license.
- Experience in Internal Medicine is preferred, including relevant coursework and clinical rotations.
- Comfort in managing chronic illnesses and developing treatment plans.
- Interest in rural healthcare settings.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: Competitive range of $120,000 to $140,000, negotiable based on experience.
