Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietary Manager to join our team at Universal Health Services, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food production kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of cooks, utility persons, and aides to maintain high standards of food production, safety, and service.
  • Order, receive, and store goods and supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate special functions and in-services to ensure seamless execution.
  • Prepare and oversee all food production for service to patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Manage the departmental budget and contain costs.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of basic food science, equipment usage, cleaning products, safety, and infection control practices.
  • Certified Food Handler.
  • Valid PA Driver's License.
  • Five years in a management position.
