Sleep Study Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographer to join our team at Cambridge Health Alliance. As a Polysomnographer, you will be responsible for performing and overseeing all aspects of care related to sleep studies and EEGs, under medical direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer diagnostic modalities, including setup and initiation of in-lab diagnostic sleep studies, CPAP titrations, bi-level titrations, MSLT studies, and home sleep testing.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding sleep diagnosis and treatment of related disorders and sleep hygiene.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of an accredited Sleep Technology educational program leading to a certificate or associate degree.
- One of the following credentials: Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), or Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) credential.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of polysomnography experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
