Nurse Practitioner Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Professional Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Hospitalist team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our caregiving team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, coordinate, plan, direct, implement, and manage the needs of assigned patients throughout their episode of care.
- Deliver and coordinate patient care provided by the caregiving team, ensuring competent and compassionate care is uniformly provided to customers.
- Participate in performance and quality improvement activities, working towards enhancing customer/patient satisfaction.
- Demonstrate respect for individual differences by acknowledging the essence of each person, appreciating and responding to unique spiritual, personal, and cultural backgrounds.
This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our team. You will be expected to:
- Initiate open communication, convey positive intent, and offer assistance.
- Actively participate in the Nursing Professional Advancement Pathway (NPAP) to progress from novice to competent within a specialty.
- Work towards enhancing customer/patient satisfaction and contributing to a positive work environment.
