Environmental Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Professional to join our team nationwide with priority in the NYC Tri-state area, GA, SC, NC , northern CA, OR, and WA areas. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, and soil and groundwater investigations.
This is an independent consulting position where you will work on a wide variety of property types including residential, office, retail, hospitality, and warehouse/distribution buildings. As an Environmental Specialist, you will be exposed to complex environmental projects and will have the opportunity to work with other seasoned environmental scientists and geologists conducting and leading projects independently.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental consulting and be considered as an Environmental Professional (EP) per ASTM 1527-21. They should also have performed over 300 Phase I EAs, have regulatory compliance experience, and possess current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training certification, asbestos inspector, and/or lead-based paint certification. A degree in environmental science, engineering or geology-related science is recommended.
The salary for this position is approximately $90,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
In addition to a strong technical background, we are looking for someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and attention to detail. The ability to work independently and contribute to a team is essential.
