Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a partnering hospital in Frisco, Texas. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week contract opportunity with the possibility of extension. You will work 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts, and have the opportunity to work NOC shifts. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing respiratory care services to individual patients and their families, including assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating the care given.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care services to individual patients and their families
  • Assess, care plan, implement, document, and evaluate the care given
  • Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment
Requirements:
  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • 1-2 years minimum acute care experience
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle a multi-task environment
  • Basic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment
