Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Operating Room Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, monitoring their vital signs, and administering medications and treatments as ordered.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide perioperative care to patients in recovery, procedure, and operating rooms.
  • Ensure the operating room is sterilized and prepared with all necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any adverse reactions in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans for surgical patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and alert appropriate team members as needed.
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of surgical experience as an Operating Room nurse.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current state-specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing.
  • BLS certification required.
  • May require ACLS certification.
