Your ImpactAs a Speech Language Pathologist with ProCare Therapy, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive school environment, delivering vital speech therapy services to students in elementary through high school.
Key Responsibilities- Provide therapy sessions to students, focusing on their individual communication goals.
- Manage a caseload of around 50-65 students per therapist, ensuring individualized attention and effective therapy plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to provide holistic support and ensure student progress.
- Document and adjust therapy plans based on student progress, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Engage with students in one-on-one or small group therapy sessions, providing effective and supportive communication strategies.
A typical day as a Speech Language Pathologist with ProCare Therapy may include:
- Conducting therapy sessions tailored to student needs.
- Collaborating with teachers and parents during lunch to discuss strategies and progress.
- Documenting student progress and adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Engaging with students in therapy sessions, providing effective communication strategies.
To be successful as a Speech Language Pathologist with ProCare Therapy, you will need:
- Valid licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Oregon.
- Experience in school settings is preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Dedication to enhancing students' speech and language skills.
