Senior Meat Cutter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Meat Cutter to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for driving sales in your area and delivering exceptional customer service to our members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the total club meets the member's expectations.
• Process meat products according to specifications, including cutting, slicing, grinding, and wrapping.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of different meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management.
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
• Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
• Drive business results, ensuring commitment to operational excellence, planning for profitability, and maintaining a work area according to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure quality and standards for high-volume meat products, eliminate waste, and secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
• Assist members with purchasing decisions and ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.

Requirements:

• 6 months' experience working in a fresh production department.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
