Industrial Painter/Powder Coater

ITAC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter/Powder Coater to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint and powder coating to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet our standards.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with project managers to identify painting needs and assist in making optimal project decisions.
- Install ventilators and other safety measures to safeguard painters from harmful fumes.
- Prepare surfaces for painting through sandblasting and thorough cleaning to ensure they are free from contaminants.
- Apply primer and various sealers to surfaces to guarantee proper adhesion of the paint.
- Use brushes, rollers, or sprayers to apply paint and other finishes to designated surfaces.
- Manage an inventory of supplies such as paintbrushes, rollers, tarps, and other consumables.
- Clean machines, equipment, and workspaces with water, solvents, and other cleaning agents.
- Review and execute work orders and assignments as instructed.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial painting and powder coating.
- Knowledge of different types of paints, finishes, and application techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and work instructions.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Experience with automated coating systems is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
