Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - 2nd Shift

Canterbury Court, a faith-based, not-for-profit organization, is seeking a 2nd Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Charge Nurse to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled LPN Charge Nurse to provide care and treatment for our residents on the 2nd shift. The successful candidate will oversee the work of certified nursing aides, ensure general care and monitoring of residents, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing functions using established procedures, policies, guidelines, and standards.
  • Administer medication accurately and observe patient response.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and approved parties regarding the plan of care.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
Requirements
  • Valid registration as an LPN in the state of Georgia.
  • Completion of relevant state Board of Nursing approved education.
  • Current AHA Healthcare Provider training (BCLS).
  • One year of experience in a long-term care setting.
