We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist/Processor to join our team at Interpath Laboratory in Twin Falls. As a key member of our clinical laboratory operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth collection, processing, and reporting of laboratory specimens.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and process blood samples and other specimens for laboratory testing
- Perform screening procedures and verify specimen information
- Manage data entry and accurately identify patient information
- Handle and package samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity
- Comply with safety protocols, HIPAA policies, and quality assurance standards
- Cover work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure seamless operations
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Professional experience in phlebotomy (2+ years preferred)
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients and team members
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently

Physical Requirements- Ability to hear and respond to alarms and safety hazards
- Regularly exposed to infection by handling potentially infectious samples
- Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, crawl, bend, and twist as needed
- Requires walking on non-level surfaces and frequent bending and stooping
- Typically stands for extended periods and ability to work long hours and overtime as needed
- Lifting up to 30 pounds
