Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist/Processor to join our team at Interpath Laboratory in Twin Falls. As a key member of our clinical laboratory operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth collection, processing, and reporting of laboratory specimens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process blood samples and other specimens for laboratory testing
  • Perform screening procedures and verify specimen information
  • Manage data entry and accurately identify patient information
  • Handle and package samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity
  • Comply with safety protocols, HIPAA policies, and quality assurance standards
  • Cover work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Professional experience in phlebotomy (2+ years preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients and team members
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to hear and respond to alarms and safety hazards
  • Regularly exposed to infection by handling potentially infectious samples
  • Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, crawl, bend, and twist as needed
  • Requires walking on non-level surfaces and frequent bending and stooping
  • Typically stands for extended periods and ability to work long hours and overtime as needed
