Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Banker to join our team at InTouch Credit Union. As a Personal Banker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional member service, identifying and recommending products and services, and meeting or exceeding sales and service goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and professional member service, greeting and welcoming members and visitors to the Credit Union.
  • Identify and recommend products and services based on member financial needs, using open-ended questions to determine needs.
  • Contact prospective members, businesses, and community groups to present information on available products and services.
  • Attend community organization meetings to develop new business and create awareness of the credit union.
  • Meet or exceed sales and service goals, working closely with branch leadership to ensure exceptional member service delivery.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with branch staff, working closely with them to ensure exceptional member service delivery.
  • Facilitate member requests and concerns, responding with a sense of urgency to maintain and strengthen member relationships.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities to enhance relationship building with members, providing enhanced services by maintaining expert knowledge of Credit Union features and benefits.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all operational and lending procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to Credit Union policies and procedures, government rules and regulations, and vendor and security guidelines.
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) registration with Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in the financial industry, with one year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows.
  • Basic knowledge of software applications.
  • Compliance with Federal Bank Secrecy and Money Laundering rules required.
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, with occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, finger dexterity, grasping, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual acuity. The ability to lift up to 10 pounds is also required.
