Job Title: Watch Officer Liaison

GAP Solutions, Inc. (GAPSI) is seeking a highly skilled Watch Officer Liaison to join our team. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for providing critical support to our command center and emergency operations center (EOC) best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and track security events and incidents occurring on the U.S. Capitol grounds and within the National Capitol Region (NCR)
  • Provide situational awareness reports of incidents with potential public security or safety consequences
  • Support the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the AOC's support to the USCP Command Center
  • Coordinate AOC response to incidents affecting AOC operations and/or the security of the U.S. Capitol Complex
Requirements:
  • Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience; or PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience; or Associate's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience; or No degree with 12+ years of relevant experience
  • Active, fully adjudicated Top Secret clearance is REQUIRED for all personnel to start on the contract and must be maintained throughout the duration of employment
  • Five (5) or more years of relevant experience in law enforcement, security, law enforcement liaison and/or emergency management work with demonstrated knowledge of command center and/or emergency operations center (EOC) best practices
  • Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
