Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team at Canduct Boardman. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for preparing CNC programs in G-codes using Master-CAM for CNC Routers and CNC Lathes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare CNC programs in G-codes using Master-CAM for CNC Routers and CNC Lathes.
  • Create tool paths for CNC routers and Lathes.
  • Control offcuts to minimize raw material waste.
  • Optimize machining time.
  • Work closely with production staff to ensure that timelines are met.
  • Highlight potential quality issues and follow up with production staff to ensure verification.
  • Work closely with customers to clarify any issues with drawings.
  • Control and update CNC program database.
Requirements
  • Completion of post-secondary education in CNC Programming.
  • Two plus years of programming experience using Mastercam.
  • One to two years' experience operating and setting up CNC Router or CNC Lathe.
  • Detail oriented, both in paperwork and computer-generated drawings.
  • AutoCad experience preferred.
