We are seeking a skilled Nurse Residency Unit Nurse to join our team at Piedmont Athens Regional. As a key member of our Med Surg team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to acute care patients in our state-of-the-art Main Tower.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Function within the framework of the organization's policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
- Maintain standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
- Graduate of a nursing program.
- New graduates of a nursing program eligible.
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable. Bachelor's degree preferred. Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.
