Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a key member of our Cardiac Cath Lab team, you will work closely with Interventional Cardiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and Registered Nurses to deliver exceptional patient care before, during, and after diagnostic and interventional cardiac or peripheral catheterizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret patients' ECG patterns and identify cardiac needs
  • Assist in patient data collection and report changes to the RN
  • Support radiation safety and protection devices
  • Assist in the operation of x-ray equipment
  • Provide equipment and supplies for patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement activities
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements
  • Graduate of a certificate or degree-granting program in a health science
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Cath Lab and/or interventional radiology
  • Eligible for certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
