Pacemaker Technician

We are seeking a skilled Pacemaker Technician to join our team at BayCare Health System. As a Pacemaker Technician, you will play a critical role in providing outstanding customer service to our community by evaluating and managing pacemakers and other implantable devices under the supervision of a physician.

• Evaluate and manage pacemakers and other implantable devices under the supervision of a physician
• Educate patients and families regarding device function, clinic follow-up scheduling, and device home monitoring
• Ensure correct billing and coding of device checks
• Identify opportunities for enhanced workflow in the clinics in collaboration with management
• Assist with wound checks following implants
• Assist the physician and other healthcare professionals in related technical areas as needed

• HS Diploma or GED
• Cardiology Arrhythmia Certification and 3 years of healthcare experience or 1 year of Cardiology experience
• Preferred experience working with programmers from major device companies and utilizing remote monitoring sites from major device companies
• Preferred certifications: CRAT, RCES, CCDS, CEPS

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (may vary). The location is Safety Harbor, FL, with no weekend work or on-call requirements.
