Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Overview
The role of a Maintenance Technician encompasses a diverse range of skills necessary for managing various responsibilities. This position involves working with rotating machinery and facilities under pressure to conduct routine upkeep. As an entry-level role, comprehensive training will be provided to also undertake IOC responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on multiple Dehy Units, including filter changes and monitoring pump and fluid levels.
- Regularly clean and service compressor skids and other processing equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with production machinery.
- Replace small valves and threaded piping as required.
- Maintain plant facilities, including roads and surrounding areas.
- Service backhoes and trailers as necessary.
- Assist lease operators with minor projects.
- Coordinate and manage pipeline pigging as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of crew trucks and tools.
- Complete all necessary computer-based tasks and reports.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain productivity.
- Fulfill IOC roles when required.
Qualifications
- Experience in the oilfield sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.
- Goal-oriented and proactive mindset.
- Capacity to learn and retain knowledge of tasks.
- Experience with heavy machinery is beneficial.
- A consistent work history demonstrating a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Express.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
This position involves regular outdoor work in various weather conditions, including rain, extreme heat, and cold, alongside moving mechanical components. Expect exposure to high winds, ice, snow, humidity, vibration, and dust.
Noise levels may require the use of hearing protection, and the role involves prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
Specific vision capabilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The role may require lifting up to 100 lbs.
There may be potential exposure to gas, liquid hydrocarbons, and saltwater.
