We are in search of a proficient Business Intelligence Analyst with expertise in managing project management applications like OnePlan. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in data analytics, business intelligence, and project portfolio management. This individual will be responsible for designing and overseeing Power BI dashboards while administering OnePlan to effectively fulfill reporting requirements for executives, stakeholders, and project teams.

Work Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Power BI Development: Create, develop, and sustain Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders. Transform raw data into insightful visualizations that aid in decision-making. Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across all reports and dashboards.
  • OnePlan Administration: Oversee and manage OnePlan, including its configuration and user management. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure that the enhancement roadmap for OnePlan aligns with project portfolio management needs. Provide training and support to users regarding OnePlan functionalities and best practices.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to uncover trends and patterns. Maintain automated data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, and generate regular and ad-hoc reports to meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to understand data needs and deliver effective solutions. Clearly communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Act as a liaison among stakeholders, executives, delivery teams, and the PMO to ensure alignment and effective project KPIs and reporting.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest tools, trends, and best practices in business intelligence, data analytics, project management, and agile development. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement improvements to existing reports and dashboards. Contribute to the development and maintenance of BI standards and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Power BI development and data analysis, along with 2-4 years of experience working with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.

Nice To Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with application configuration, customization, and administration.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and processes.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Advanced certifications in Power BI (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).
  • Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
