Key Responsibilities

  1. Efficiently manage the check-in process utilizing the Point-of-Sale System.
  2. Ensure accurate guest information and education through the Point-of-Sale system.
  3. Maintain a tidy and organized golf shop by ensuring all merchandise is displayed neatly; staff will receive training on proper folding techniques.
  4. Acquire comprehensive knowledge of products and services available in the golf shop.
  5. Keep the golf shop clean through regular sweeping, dusting, and cleaning of all fixtures.
  6. Accurately handle all financial transactions and ensure efficient daily accounting practices.
  7. Promptly notify a supervisor of any discrepancies or concerns regarding daily operations.
  8. Perform any additional tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements

The role requires physical dexterity, including bending, stretching, reaching, grabbing, holding, and carrying items. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and have the ability to walk, sit, or stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours a day. Additionally, the ability to work productively at a desk or computer for the same duration is necessary.

Personal Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess genuine customer service skills, be self-motivated, punctual, and detail-oriented. A professional appearance is expected while on property, including adherence to uniform standards. Previous experience in the golf course or club industry is preferred.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Buyer / Assistant Golf & Lodging Manager.
