Position Type: Part-Time

Starting Wage: $12.70/hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks efficiently with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Follow customer satisfaction guidelines and engage positively with customers and colleagues.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Provide constructive feedback to management regarding product offerings and store operations.
  • Help maintain a safe environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards.
  • Support management in achieving payroll and loss prevention goals.
  • Adhere to inventory management and product handling protocols.
  • Follow cash handling procedures to minimize discrepancies.
  • Comply with all established company policies and procedures.
  • Process customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, and return misplaced items to their proper locations.
  • Collaborate with team members and share relevant information with supervisors.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive documents and data.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in a retail setting is advantageous. A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge is acceptable.

Qualifications:

  • Deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficiently operate a cash register with accuracy.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to meet company standards.
  • Understand and apply company policies and procedures effectively.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Pay attention to detail and follow instructions diligently.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Manage time effectively to maximize productivity.
  • Possess knowledge of the company’s products and services.
  • Meet any local and state requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store.
