Emergency Veterinary Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Emergency Technician to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our emergency team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients and their pets.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated and passionate individual who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a dynamic and collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency and critical care to patients, including stabilization, treatment, and monitoring
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and procedures, including blood draws, urinalyses, and imaging studies
  • Administer medications and treatments, including anesthesia and pain management
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong foundation in veterinary technology, including emergency and critical care principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other healthcare team members
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a desire to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies in veterinary emergency and critical care
