Job Summary:

Piedmont seeks a skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse RN to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, the Staff Nurse RN will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage and Communication: Respond to incoming telephone calls, address patient inquiries, and coordinate medication refills as directed by physicians.
  • Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinical nursing standards, monitoring patients' conditions and reporting any adverse reactions to physicians.
  • Patient Education: Provide education and teaching to patients under the direction of physicians, addressing questions regarding diagnostic testing and treatment.
  • Wound Care: Dress wounds according to standard clinical procedures.
  • IV Administration: Administer and monitor IV fluids and medications as necessary.
  • MA Duties: Perform medical assisting duties as indicated.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate of a nursing program.
  • Experience: None required.
  • Licensure/Certification: State of Georgia Licensure as a registered nurse required. AHA BLS certification required.
