Position Overview:
This role is designed for a dedicated nursing professional who will provide essential health services within an occupational setting. The successful candidate will be engaged in a variety of health and safety initiatives aimed at promoting the well-being of employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver primary and emergency medical care for both work-related and non-work-related health issues.
  • Conduct necessary health evaluations and screenings, including drug and alcohol assessments, spirometry, and audiometric tests.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and manage health records for employees.
  • Participate actively in safety and ergonomic programs within the workplace.
  • Assist in health education and training initiatives to foster a culture of safety.
  • Support the management of workers' compensation cases and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the health and safety objectives of the organization.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Must possess a current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year in a nursing capacity is preferred; clinical hours from graduate nurses may be considered.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic computer operations and familiarity with electronic medical documentation systems.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with effective problem-solving and organizational skills.

Physical Demands:
The role requires mobility throughout the facility to ensure compliance with health protocols, including the ability to navigate stairs and utilize ladders.

Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel to local healthcare facilities may be necessary.
