About the RoleWe are seeking an exceptional Lead Preschool Instructor to join our team at The Goddard School - Simpsonville. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students.

Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver a comprehensive curriculum that caters to the diverse needs of our students. This includes teaching essential reading and math skills, while also focusing on social and emotional development.

In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will also need to communicate effectively with parents and other school personnel to ensure seamless collaboration and to monitor student progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with educational standards
  • Teach beginning reading and math skills, and support children in developing social and emotional skills
  • Employ a range of instructional methods and learning techniques to cater to different learning styles
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Assess student progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adhere to health and safety policies
Benefits:$45,000 - $55,000 per annum + benefits package, including opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; Associate's or higher degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to adhere to these guidelines
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
