In this role, you will perform and interpret a variety of diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures, including m-mode, 2-D real-time imaging, and Doppler techniques. You will work under minimal supervision to ensure safe, accurate, and timely delivery of these services.
You will assist physicians in obtaining and recording data for research projects and maintain equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Additionally, you will prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and obtain clinical information from patient charts.
The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in Radiology or a related field and be proficient in small parts, venous, and carotid ultrasounds. They will also be able to work independently to perform exams and seek assistance as needed.
As a valued member of our team, you will contribute technical and professional knowledge to final diagnostic impressions on reports and participate actively in echo reading sessions. You will also proofread final official echo reports before sending them to medical records.
