Baptist Health Urgent Care, part of the Urgent Team Management family, is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at our North Little Rock location. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing x-ray testing, operating diagnostic equipment, and preparing patients for radiologic procedures.

With over 23 locations across Arkansas, Baptist Health Urgent Care is committed to providing high-quality, affordable healthcare services to our community. Our convenient walk-in centers are open seven days a week, offering a range of healthcare services including treatments for injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care.

This role offers a competitive salary of approximately $55,000 per year, with opportunities for career growth and professional development. We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Imaging Specialist who possesses excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you have experience as a Medical Assistant or ARRT Certification, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform x-ray testing, including body mechanics and patient movement
  • Operate diagnostic equipment and prepare patients for radiologic procedures
  • Assist front desk personnel with patient check-in/check-out procedures
  • Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs and weight
  • Follow documentation procedures and complete required documentation related to patient visits

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • BLS Certification
  • AR State X-Ray License
  • ARRT Certification preferred
  • Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
