Position Overview

Ryder is seeking a skilled Truck Driver Class A Home Daily to join our team. As a Home Daily Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers in the local area, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods to customers in the local area.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
  • Comply with all applicable federal and state regulations, as well as Ryder's safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Class A CDL with a valid endorsement for the position.
  • At least 9 months of verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle within the past 3 years.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
