The Maintenance Technician will perform essential maintenance tasks across our communities, ensuring that residents' needs are met and that homes are maintained to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Utilizing company technology to complete various maintenance work orders as directed.
- Executing unit turns as assigned.
- Ensuring timely completion of work orders and documenting details in the tracking system.
- Responding to emergency maintenance requests, including on-call duties.
- Maintaining required certifications for the position.
- Upholding company standards in community maintenance.
- Performing additional related duties as needed.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience.
- Knowledge in plumbing and/or electrical systems.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- A strong understanding of maintenance and repair processes, with a focus on resident satisfaction.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
This position involves significant physical activity, including walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and the ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
